Good Old Funky Shit.

I've always loved funk and here are some tracks that I'm in love with. Some funk/hiphop vibes, so chilled, so funky and so damn good!

I love piano, some sweet editing here and some really sexy trumpet playing.

Gramatik - Chillaxin' By The Sea

Jazzy times. If only i could play sax like this...

Gramatik - Late Night Jazz

Going into something a little different than the last two, more fast paced with some really funky bass, love it.

Warren Clarke - Everybody (Funkanomics Remix)

And finally Mr. President is awesome, he has got some awesome tracks, this one is probably my favourite of his! Enjoy

Mr. President - Love And Happiness

Some Damn Sexy Sounds

A lot of these are quite old tracks/songs, but there are some in here that you might not of heard before. These are songs that make me feel reaaaally good and get me "in the mood" :| They are gorgeous tracks...enjoy ;)

Hudson Mohawke - OOOPS!!!

Robin Thicke - Dreamworld

Portishead - Glory Box

This track has two versions by MA, Black Milk has the same lyrics but i prefer this because of the distorted guitars!
Massive Attack - Black Melt

Air - Talisman

Want A Dance?

I've got a few wee belters for you. These are tracks that I would like to hear on a night out, they put me in such a good mood and get me through any cleaning or tidying up I've got to do.

I pinched this first one off last month MixMag CD mixed by Pete Tong, doesn't kick in until 2.18, see when it does...hear for yourself

Eats Everything - Entrance Song (Original Mix)

I can see myself going absolutely mental in club to this next track, it's got a faint 1920s style, which makes it even better for me. Can't stop listening to it.

Stereo Express - Shadoorack (Original Mix)

This next one is Julio Bashmore's belter of 2011, saw him play at SubClub last month, he played some amazing music that night, although his mixing wasn't that great. "people get up, stomp your feet, let's get down" ! yaaas

Julio Bashmore - Battle For Middle You (Original Mix)

I Fancy You

A track that came on at Substanz the night Guy Gerber was playing at SubClub, it was the last track of the night at 7am. It's an awesome remix of that catchy Bibio song on the Amazon Kindle advert. A guy i'm in tae played this to me a few nights before on his guitar and as soon as it came on i had the biggest cheeser ever and i just laughed to myself. It's a good un. Pretty sure it's a white label cause I can't find it anywhere to buy.

Bibio - Lovers Carvings (Catz n Dogz Re-Edit)

When I Need To Get Out

We all get those moments when you're sick of seeing the same four walls and you need to get out. These are tracks that I'm really loving at the moment and are really good when I need one of those motivational walks that clear my head and get me back on track.

This first one is stunning, it's a 2006 track and it's a nice wee remix of Etta James' "Something's Got A Hold On Me". It's such a clever track and puts a "loving life" smile on my gay.
Pretty Lights - Finally Moving

Next is a more recent track from COMPTON and it features Jaidene Veda's beautifully gentle vocals.
COMPTON - Believing FT. Jaidene Veda
